Bridal Business Bootcamp at Festoon LA

Attendees were welcomed into Festoon LA for Bridal Business Bootcamp hosted by  Jamison of Jamison Events and Samantha Kin of To Be Loved Events. The venue was decorated in a mixture of dried and fresh flowers alluding to a boho theme. Ceremony, bar, and reception vignettes were set up for day one’s photography workshop and styled shoot-out to be taught by Taylor Kinzie of Taylor Kinzie Photography. A large floral installation composed of dried palm leaves, pampas, roses and filler hung over the reception table that was draped in light pink linen. Centerpieces filled with greenery and fresh flowers added pops of color to the table and gold flatware, wooden chargers and ceramic plates completed the tablescape. Eager to begin, attendees listened to Taylor as she gave insightful tips and tricks while shooting each space. Models were posed in front of the bar, at the reception table, in the ceremony space and more so the attendees could really get great experience shooting not only still objects but also capturing human emotion through photography. After everyone had photographed all the shots they hoped to capture, the first day of the workshop ended with a few words form the hosts and everyone left excited for day 2.

Day two was filled with networking and educating the attendees on all things events. Jamison and Samantha took the attendees through their Bridal Business Bootcamp workbooks and answered questions while everyone enjoyed lunch catered by us. Our Venue and Catering Manager, Rachel, assisted the hosts in selecting The Associate or The Report Boxed Lunches for attendees to enjoy. The Associate features Jay’s Turkey & Ham Palm Sandwiches served with pasta salad, fresh fruit and a dessert. The Report features a Grilled Veggie Wrap filled with roasted red peppers, eggplant, zucchini, carrots, spinach, daikon sprouts, and poblano hummus spread served with a side of balsamic and fresh fruit. Mimosas were poured and the group reminisced on their experience at the bootcamp before wrapping the event up and heading home.
