Pops of Purple at the Rose Center

Dressed in matching floral jammies, Irene and her bridesmaids finished accessorizing inside the bridal suite at the Rose Center, then changed into their dresses. Each bridesmaid wore a purple dress and the bride wore a lace and tulle gown. Accessories were added to complete their looks and heels were slipped on at the very last minute. Meanwhile, Nathan and his groomsmen arrived to the venue suited up in light grey with purple ties to match the bridesmaids. The photographer kept the guys busy outside posing for pictures so the bride and groom wouldn’t see each other before the ceremony. As soon as guests started arriving, Irene, Nathan, and their wedding party hid away until it was time for their big reveal.

A welcome table with guest book stood right at the entrance into the Rose Center’s courtyard where guests could place their gifts and write a note to the bride and groom. Greenery and fresh flowers decorated a welcome sign that was propped up near the welcome table leading everyone to the ceremony space. A structural backdrop with pink and white floral accents marked the spot where Irene and Nathan would soon be standing and rose petals lined the aisle. Music began and the crowd fell silent as each groomsman and bridesmaid made their entrance. The bride and groom stood together holding hands on stage at the head of the aisle and exchanged loving vows. The two decided to have a little fun during their ceremony and do a boba pouring where they mixed two drinks together to make one as a representation of their love. Rings were exchanged and with a sweet kiss, the couple was pronounced husband and wife.

Cocktail hour remained in the courtyard where Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts, and Seared Ahi on Wonton Chips were being tray passed. Beer, wine, and soft drinks filled glasses at the bar while everyone mixed and mingled. During cocktail hour, the wedding party snuck away from some group photos, then rejoined the wedding just as everyone was called in for dinner.

Inside the Rose Center, purple floral centerpieces topped each table contrasting the white linens and small gifts were set atop each plate. The bridal party made their grand entrance and entertained guests with a choreographed dance before the bride and groom shared their first dance. With introductions complete, Irene and Nathan took a seat at their flower filled sweetheart table. Glasses were raised as speeches were made, then dinner was served. A classic menu selection of Chicken Veronique, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and Pear & Walnut Salad was chosen by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Casey. Once fueled up, the bouquet was tossed and more dancing broke out on the dance floor. Some guests gravitated over to the photo booth and posed for pictures that they could take home as keepsakes. Before the night ended, the wedding cake was cut and shared with guests and the bride and groom were sent off in an uproar of cheers.
